Mechanical and Ballistic Breaching Course

The course will cover instructional methodologies and course designs for manual and ballistic breaching.  Exterior door and interior door breaching will be covered to include defeating various types of barricades/fortifications, chains and locks.  Window breaching to include entry and port and cover methods.  Vehicle pulls on doors, windows and other hardened structures.

 

At the completion of the course the students will be able to use manual tools to include but not limited to; halligan tool, pry tool, ram, sledge hammer, bolt cutters, and a variation of window breaks during their normal law enforcement duties as needed

 

The student will also be receiving instruction on ballistic (shotgun) breaching.  Students will cover tactical team deployment in exterior and interior use.
